Cephalectomy will release their follow-up to Sign Of Chaos
early in 2004. The working title for the new CD is Eclipsing The Dawn. The music will be crazier, more
brutal and more involved than anything the band has ever produced. We are looking forward to its release.
In other news, Discorporate Music is proud to announce that its roster is comprised completely of "Internet bands". That's right.
All the Discorporate bands are now either unable to play shows or no longer write music. Isn't that great? Fear Absolute recently
became a one-man band when Dale Lyons (guitar and vox) and Dan Rogers (drums) decided to part company. Dale will continue to fly
the Fear Absolute flag and hopefully release more music in the future. Oh, Dichotic still has not released their long-awaited third
album. Maybe it will happen some day, but don't count on it.

Cephalectomy is working on their yet-to-be-titled second release for Discorporate
Music. At this stage, the band has recorded all of the instruments (drums, guitar, bass)
and some of the vocal tracks. While there is no timeline for when Cephalectomy will have
the music produced and packaged, a fair estimate would be sometime in 2004.

The new Fear Absolute CD Apprehension is here! To say that
this is an awesome recording is an understatement. Apprehension
features seven tracks of uncompromising metal music. Despite their disturbingly heavy tone, the
instruments sound crystal clear. The workmanship and passion the band has for its music is
captured perfectly in a recording that clocks in at just under an hour long. If you don't
buy this, you probably don't like music, or you're poor. So, spare some cash for this album.
You won't be dissappointed.

The new Fear Absolute CD Apprehension will be available sometime
during the week beginning July 7th. Last-minute delays pushed back the release date but these
issues have been overcome. A source from Fear Absolute claims that the band has found a
potential candidate to fill the open bass position. Fear Absolute could be ready to play
shows again later this year.

Fear Absolute's stunning debut CD Apprehension for Discorporate Music should be ready for release by early June. Everything is ready to go. Rumour has it that Fear Absolute may have found a new bass player as well. If true, this would be great news as it would allow the band to play some shows in support of their new album. Fear Absolute
had originally intended to release their CD months ago, but they have been careful not to rush things. Everything to do with the album from the final mix to the artwork has been scrutinized to the utmost to ensure a stellar end product. Be sure not to miss out on Apprehension when it is ready. The CD will be available directly from the band and from Discorporate Music.

The Dichotic show scheduled for March 8th has been canceled due to the lack of a venue. Fire inspectors have been
busy closing down all the all-ages clubs in Halifax, and there wasn't anywhere else to go. Dichotic will attempt
to re-schedule the show sometime in the future. However, Dichotic will have new shirts and a new 3-song EP available
by the end of the week. Stay tuned.

Big news was issued this week from Halifax death metal band Dichotic. They are reforming to play their first show in what will have been about 20 months
on March 8, 2003 at the Pavilion all-ages club in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band is hoping for a strong turnout and a good performance. Although it's hard to know what to expect after a 20 month lay-off. Dichotic still has plans to finish their third album that has been languishing in stasis since 2001. However, they have recorded and released two new tracks since their departure from the scene. Visit Dichotic's site and check out their more recent material if you haven't already.
Metal mongers, Fear Absolute from Fredericton, New Brunswick are getting closer to finishing the mix for their upcoming CD called Apprehension. The disc is expected to hit the streets by March 2003.
Cephalectomy, Nova Scotia's most well-known one-man brutal death metal band, has started recording tracks for their next release. They expect it will be quite awhile before they have anything for us to listen to, but it will happen eventually.
